Cover Reveal: WICKED AS YOU WISH paperbacks!

MAY, 2021

We’re going back to the world of Avalon with this new paperback cover of WICKED AS YOU WISH! Some more information about this cover and what to expect from the series from here on out:

1. Finally! The cover that I’d finally been hoping to have – gorgeous art of Tala! These will be available as paperback covers when they finally head to bookstores on October 5, 2021, and I’ll be letting you know again once it’s out, or if there are any preorder options for the book with this particular cover!

2. My publisher made the decision to delay the next book in the A HUNDRED NAMES FOR MAGIC series until May 2022, given our current new normal. WAYW didn’t get its chance to shine because it was published the same rime all the lockdowns went down, so the cover is just one of many ways we’re restarting the series!

3. The cover is not the only thing changed. Given the delay in publishing between books 1 & 2, and because I had already finished my draft of Book #3 during that time (the last one in the series!) I was offered the chance to edit WICKED AS YOU WISH again, in order to align all the events of books 2 & 3 better, and also to delete what I now know are unnecessary scenes and info, so I took the opportunity to – a rare thing when the book has already been published! The main plot remains as is, so if you’re worried about missing out on any key elements you have nothing to fear regarding that – but details in some scenes have been edited to make a better impact on the second and third books after it!

Stay tuned for another cover reveal of Book #2 in the future – along with several more projects I hope to announce this year including a book I’m writing for a beloved, popular series; a creepypasta-style book where I go back to my horror roots; and a new adult fantasy series to be announced soon (hint: vampires)!

Many years ago, the magical Kingdom of Avalon was left desolate and encased in ice when the evil Snow Queen waged war on the powerful country. Its former citizens are now refugees in a world mostly devoid of magic. Which is why the crown prince and his protectors are stuck in…Arizona.

Prince Alexei, the sole survivor of the Avalon royal family, is in hiding in a town so boring, magic doesn’t even work there. Few know his secret identity, but his friend Tala is one of them. Tala doesn’t mind—she has secrets of her own. Namely, that she’s a spellbreaker, someone who negates magic.

Then hope for their abandoned homeland reignites when a famous creature of legend, and Avalon’s most powerful weapon, the Firebird, appears for the first time in decades. Alex and Tala unite with a ragtag group of new friends to journey back to Avalon for a showdown that will change the world as they know it.

An unforgettable alternative history fairytale story about found family, modern day magic, and finding the place you belong.
